BioNice Name, Isn't It
This is a simple fanfiction journal. Probably won't be used much, but who knows? I've recently started posting my pixel art here too, fanart or otherwise.
About Mr. Hyde
I go by Radi most of the time, and contrary to the username (a throwback to Hotel Dusk), I am female! I like video games and stuff. I'm a pixel artist and I've been doing that for about seven years, about as long as I've been writing, actually.
What do you write?
It depends. I'm looking to get a lot more into writing fanfiction - I seem to have an annoying inability to get beyond the first chapter of something, which is an issue I am working at. As of this writing I tend to do things in the Phoenix Wright genre. Pairings I like... well, there's lots, but I mostly ship Phoenix/Edgeworth and Apollo/Klavier. Yeah, mostly geared towards slash, though my writing has taken a gen turn lately.
What do you pixel?
Stuff. I like to do pretty things and I like to do fanart of Phoenix Wright characters. I like to experiment with different styles and methods, though my style fluctuates a lot and I tend to go for simpler looks.
What are your influences?
I take inspiration from a lot of places. Early on my chief inspirations were dollers such as Angy-Chan and Jaeden - I've since fallen out of dolling but you can see the way it's had an influence on my style. Nowadays my biggest influences are video games with intricate pixel work such as Castlevania and Metal Slug, and games like Disgaea and Guilty Gear.
Can I friend you?
Go ahead! I'll be keeping posting about my personal life to a minimum, and updates in general may be sparse, but... I don't mind new friends, or people watching me if they like what I do. Sorry if I don't comment much on your entries...
Can I use your pixels in my (blank)?
Um, probably! I would really like it if you ask first, but nine times out of ten I will give you permission if you ask. There's a few things I've made as gifts for others that I don't want random people using, but if you ask nicely, I'll let you use most of it.
Can I edit your pixels?
Please don't without asking. Editing out the signature on anything that happens to have a signature on it is a big flat no. Minor edits should be okay, but yeah, again, please ask for permission.
I might eventually release 'bases' of some of my more generic work for public use.
This is all hypothetical, I've never really had anyone use my stuff without asking.
